Saving a thread?

I'm pretty sure this isn't the right place to ask but couldn't find anywhere else. So maybe I should ask that first. I thought there was a forum for asking questions and newbies when I joined
Can I save a useful thread to somewhere on my profile so I can find it again? Thanks

Keith I could but so much there and I might forget it or loose it amongst the rest of the stuff - whereas I would know it was on here.
And finding something through a search isn't always sucessful unless you can remember the title.

Use the bookmark button at the top of the thread that you want to keep and MSE will do the rest.

Ah, didn't see that enormous button! I did see the one at the top bar and that shows me the questions I posted. Useful but not enough.
Thank you. And thanks for the clever picutre with a large arrow. Makes it easy to direct the clueless :)
Before I go, do I just access the bookmarked items by clicking on the same button?

OK I think I've got it.
I click on the Bookmark you indicated and it adds that thread to the bookmark symbol by my avatar, top bar.
The threads I start are kept automatically. I can add useful threads to that same list.
    Is that right?

    Yes, that's exactly it.
I do the same, save them for another day and once I've got what I needed or followed the advice given to someone, I remove the bookmark.

Edit to add - any threads you start are not automatically bookmarked.

No, sorry but they are not automatic, you still need to click the button for them.
You will find that your list goes in descending order from the day/time that the latest post was made in a thread.

Darn! I'll have to ask again for some then.
    Thanks for letting me know.
