Air source heat pump vs modern electric storage heater (Scotland)

Yup, it's useful and found on a searchWe're the other end of the country in south Dorset, 4 bed semi-detached with old storage heaters, plus one small S/H Quantum installed as an experiment and a wood burner, plus unvented immersion tank heated on E7, but at way higher costs in the last two years. As we're on a low household income and I have medical issues we're eligible for free solar and heating, it's taken a while to sort out, 9 months so far! But is seems that the way the scheme works they're keener to do the solar (no problem) and ASHP, but we have a tiny garden and really nowhere convinient to put the outside box of tricks, we'd prefer our storage heaters updates, but apparently that's a slim option!Interesting in the kWh usage for the heaters here, we have 5 storage heaters, which account for 80% of electricity usage of 11,000 kWh per year. The previous mentioned figues show air to air working @800kWh per year in the UK on average which would really drop our consumption, though we'd lose some in the move from E7.Interesting stuff to think about0
