Long story but basically I was 22 and he’d threatened my life countless times over a long time. Getting away from him was a massive step for me and rattling his cage was the last thing I could bring myself to do but I also didn’t want debt collectors at my parents constantly. It’s a long time ago now and it’s almost over, just this last thing to sort.

Thanks. I’ll have to speak to the recruitment team again tomorrow and see what I can do. If it means forfeiting the job then so be it.
