The template defence already tells you that, so why does anyone need to double check these instructions?

THIS IS FOR YOU TO ADD YOUR OWN FACTS TO, AND THE DATA IN THE HEADINGS,
THEN SAVE IT AS A PDF,  SIGN AND DATE A PRINTED COPY AND SCAN IT SO THAT YOU CAN ATTACH IT TO AN EMAIL TO THE CCBC AS EXPLAINED IN THE FIRST POST ABOVE:
    CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
THE 'FACTS' PARAGRAPHS ARE NOW IN #2 AND #3 under 'The facts as known to the Defendant'.
     (change to your own words!!).
Do not attach ANY evidence or anything else at this stage (the NEWBIES thread explains the stages)

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Issue date was 23/10/20 and AOS receipt date 2/11/20

With a Claim Issue Date of 23rd November, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 25th November 2020 to file your Defence.
That's less than a week away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.
    @KeithP
Hello can I ask for your help again please? I submitted my defence on 20th November and today received a letter from their legal team "Without prejudice save as to costs' dated 15th December. Should I respond to this or await to hear from HM Courts & Tribunal Service as they said the claimant had to respond within 28 days from receiving my defence? Many thanks

ignore it unless you really want to pay a sc@mmer and avoid court

login to MCOL and check the status, including dates of anything received

You have a letter from the CCBC saying that the Claimant has been sent your Defence and has 28 days to respond to the court.

You haven't actually told us what the Claimant's letter says, but whatever it says, you can ignore it.
  • It asks me to call them without prejudice to have a discussion?!

Well you won't be doing that, will you?

Conversations by telephone are worth the paper they're written on.

Wel what would you be discussing? Answer that ans that tells you what you'd want to do, surely.

What does MCOL state? DQ sent?

    Hello, me again.
I have received an allocation to a small claims track hearing (local to me). The judge has recommended mediation and I have 7 days from yesterday to email or phone to accept this, if not a final hearing will be issued and I need to submit my witness statement by 13th April (DQ submitted).
I have had no photographic evidence presented to me that I did not park "within bay markings" so assume it's my word against theirs?
I know before I was advised not to go down the mediation route - is this still the recommendation as it now looks highly likely I will end up in court?
    Many thanks
