Argos Faulty Laptop Bought in March

The OP did state that it was bought in store and as the receipt was mentioned, this does imply that it was a simple face to face in store transaction.Grumpy_chap said:Did the OP buy in store, in the old fashioned way, or use one of the reserve in advance services?0 -
Not necessarily (vis-à-vis the e-confirmation) ... it may have been an in-store transaction but it could still have been a reserve in advance transaction too.

And sometimes, even when you visit the store, a receipt can be e-mailed rather than printed and handed over there-and-then.
Shops tell us this is because they are being "green" - a cynic might think it is because the shops want our contact details for marketing purposes.0 -
Thanks All, Have tried clicking the key back into place (following a you tube) video...have managed to keep it in place with a bit of blue tack! My credit card company have tried to obtain further information from Argos but they have still not provided any information. Can’t really send the laptop for repair as my husband is using it for working purposes...just going to keep hounding Argos until I get some sort of response.0
