  • I mean now I see the huge red flags but I was taken in by all the spiel by the salesman who wanted another sale on the board and I was eager to get back on the road.
I spoke to another manager today who told me that they might have been given false assurances under pressure of the branch closing and fear of losing their job due to redundancies so I am sympathetic to a point.
  • Bet thats not in writing either !
  • They have accepted my grounds for rejection.
I was offered other options - a replacement like for like, alternative vehicle from their entire range at a similar value, not necessarily price or a competent fix but I am going with the refund.
He said he wouldn't blame me at all for not trusting the brand after this.
He is going to put it all in writing tomorrow morning with the refund amount subject to depreciation and sort out collection.
