Happy days
Just got a notification that V@ry had the T0wer dual 8l air fryers back in stock, managed to get one with 20% discount for first order on an account (which I will obviously pay off as soon as it arrives and close the account) plus 10% T0pcashabck as a new customer so will end up costing a little over £100! We've been trying to find a decent sized dual air fryer, without paying silly money, missed out of the Aldi ones online and don't have an Aldi local to us to try and get one in store on Sunday so really happy to have managed to order this one, should be here tomorrowMortgage (Nov 20- NOV 39) originally £130,999 (Interest only) NOW £102,322 (approx 78% equity)

That sounds like a good buy. I bought an actifry probably around 6 years ago and made 2 portions of chips. Its come into its own recently though when our cooker broke. We don't have the space for a large one so will stick to this, but the polo shape of ours is limiting.

@Moneyfordreams, one of the reasons for not wanting to spend too much on one is that I'm worried we won't actually use it very much but I am really happy with this price for an 8l two drawer model.
Not done any more to the hallway, need to strip the wood panelling first but loving how DH and I work together upcycling things for the house and garden, I'm the ideas person and he makes my random thoughts reality, it all started with three old, metal bed bases which became the bottom of our pergola and are now covered in climbing plants and we haven't stopped since!Mortgage (Nov 20- NOV 39) originally £130,999 (Interest only) NOW £102,322 (approx 78% equity)

Love the sound of your pergola... I love that kind of recyling.
Good luck with your new fryer.

Hi All
@savingholmes - I had a phone call from V@ry last night, was expecting them to say there was a problem with my order but they just needed to check some details for the credit account (due to my recent name change), she then confirmed the order and it should be delivered today, I am tracking it's journey! I've ordered an airfyer beginners cookbook and some liners, so I'll be cooking up a storm all weekend.
We had sausage, egg and chips last night for dinner, sausages from the freezer and chips were the ones from the C00p deal. I managed to get another 3 lots of the steak and chips deal yesterday, all of which have gone in the freezer for weekend treats. I'm not sure what to cook tonight, we have mushrooms to use up and I have some packs of lardons in the freezer so may buy some soft cheese on the way home and make bacon and mushroom pasta. Tomorrow is grocery shopping day, and you all know that means fish n chip supper but maybe this week we'll cook it ourselves in the airfryer!
I do need to go through the Christmas present stash this weekend and organise what I have and for whom.
Have a great hump day

Hi All
Well my air fryer arrived, it's a really good size, we'll be christening it tonight after doing our minimal grocery shop. Made a yummy bacon and mushroom pasta last night, managed to get a large tub of soft cheese half price as I spotted it had yesterday's date on it.
I've got a night out with a couple of old school friends tomorrow, they had suggested a meal but I've encouraged a trip to our local cinema, £4 per ticket is a lot cheaper than a dinner. Another quiet weekend planned, finish off the hallway unit and possibly Eb@y listing? We had hoped to go paddle boarding as the weather is looking ok but the tides just don't fall right for us. We will be packing away the hot tub, we have already drained it, will just clean and dry it and put it in the garage over winter, we're also planning to give the grass a final cut before winter really sets in.
Have a happy Thursday

Hi All
Hope you've all had a good weekend, the weather was great for November! We've had a lovely productive weekend, Friday I cooked us the £4 steak deal in the air fryer before going out with my friend, we had a couple of cocktails as well as going to the cinema and put the world to rights! Saturday and Sunday we emptied and cleaned the hot tub before packing it away for the winter, I striped and sanded an old door which we then deconstructed to make the panelling on the hall unit, we finished that and I gave it a coat of paint, really pleased with the way it's turned outSaturday I cooked potato wedges in the air fryer and we had those with some chilli from the freezer and yesterday I did a load of jacket potatoes and chicken tikka again in the air fryer and we had that in wraps, I have to say I've been really impressed with everything I've cooked in it so far.
I still haven't sorted out my Christmas present stash but I really do need to get this done. Short week at work this week, I've booked Friday off to go and see DD for the day, can't wait!!
Have a great day
