Do people still see value in prepaid cards like FairFX?

Some of these cards may have attractions, it all depends on why/how you use them based on personal preferences.

I have a Caxton FX card which I load with a couple hundred Euros and keep as a backup  - generally use it to settle the bar bill when checking out of the hotel. Son and heir has an additional card so I can stick some spending money on it when he takes the family on holiday.
