Ebay, strange buyer & Hermes issue ? I need help because I do not want to end up out of pocket.

Just politely reply telling him that ebay have opened a case and are dealing with it, and that you will enter into no more conversation whilst that happens.  Then repeat the same for all subsequent messages from him.

At least if he has opened a not delivered case he will struggle to open a not as described one.  When he loses the not delivered case it may of course be mysteriously delivered by the pixies and then not be as described.  In the days I sold on ebay I always blocked anyone who asked me to withdraw sale or asked me stupid questions.  Stupid is a stupid does someone once said.

Upload proof of delivery and tracking information as required . 

If by some remote chance they side against you then ring eBay ( use the call me option early in the morning) 

I've won a recent case because I had proof of delivery , eBay checked the tracking and agreed it had arrived

I wish I had. My Oh said to block him but stupid me thought ....hey its someone who does not know how ebay works? We all had to learn some time and perhaps they just don't understand. The item was immaculate and as soon as it sold we when to B&Q to get everything we needed to make sure it was wrapped and protected within an inch of its life. I will however just not respond to any more of his " assertive " messages .

After the eBay case is closed they’ll very likely open a PayPal case for INR. Keep an eye out for it and make sure you respond with your proof of delivery.

I will thank you. I have just spoken to Hermes again. they sent this

So it looks like my Mr Scamy is going to get a knock at the door. They said they are going to try to get a photo of the front door and another GPS. So fingers crossed this will be the end of it.

So Mr Scamy got very strange last night. Sent a charming message in a nut shell saying that I had fabricated the email. Questioning honesty and integrity? I was a load of rubbish etc . Why don't I just claim on the insurance? I called ebay and asked for help. Surprisingly they where amazing. They called / emailed / messaged not sure which basically to tell him to go away. They are going to block him as of the 20th so no more Mr Scamy. Nice thing is I have not had one nasty message today so fingers crossed this is the end of it. Well at least until he tries to claim is money back via Pay Pal but hey this time I am ready and have all the evidence I need. So massive thank you for all your comments.
