Had a call from DWP but they aren't sure why I was contacted.

Hi,
As title says, I was called Saturday but missed it. Left a note in my journal but not had a reply, I called up today and the lady said the person who called me left a note saying *Coronavirus Reg 3, no answer*
She had no idea what that meant and neither did her supervisors, I have done a quick google and on legislation.gov.uk it says the following-
Regulation 3 makes modifications to the amount of the standard allowance in universal credit in relation to the 2020-21 tax year. The temporary amounts will not apply for the purposes of calculating transitional protection in relation to a claimant who is moved to universal credit under Part 4 (managed migration) of the Universal Credit (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2014 (S.I. 2014/1230).
Rang them back up and told them this but they still have no idea. I lost my job 3 weeks ago and updated that on my account, just worried as we private rent and benefits is our only income currently.
Could anyone help at all please?

Is it a new claim as it may be a new claim call, does your journal/to-do list, show any booked/missed appointments?

Our claim has been going since March, lost my job 3 weeks ago but spoke to someone last week about that. My next appointment is 26th november. Nothing in either list or journal0

Hmm that is odd then. Reg 3 is what we put on certain things where we are following a new process, I would have expected a note to show what they where doing/why they where contacting you.

Is anything to worry about Tom? Nothing has changed for us, I am applying for jobs etc. We private rent and have a little boy. So i am very worried they're going to stop payment or something like that, no idea of what it could be.0

I wouldn't worry too much, it may just have been to create some commitments if you are no longer employed.
If it was going to affect payments you would have a message or something in your to-do list advising to do x within so many days.

Thank you, I am a big worrier and I have been stressing all day that they are going to close my claim, or that this months I will get 0. My assesment period is from the 27th of October to November 26th, and between those dates I am going to have 0 income so I'm hoping that means I will be entitled to the full amount which is about £1554, as we claim as a couple with a young child and private rent. The fact I was told by the lady at DWP a note was left saying "Reg 3 coronavirus" perhaps it is something to do with the whole pandemic situation. Some forums have said it could just be DWP offering optional courses etc. Just no idea.0

Did you receive any final earnings from working?Johnm2019 said:between those dates I am going to have 0 income

They almost certainly intended to put that note in the claim history rather than the journal. Perhaps then forgot to leave a journal message.tomtom256 said:Hmm that is odd then. There is a good chance with the call coming on a Saturday that someone was attempting to contact to put in place a Claimant Commitment.
