I've been with iweb for about 18months now & am quite happy with them. A couple of times I've had a query & have phoned them the phone was answered very quickly & staff helpul. I've never used a platform with all the bells & whistles but don't think I've really missed out on anything. Iweb is straight forward to use & very cost effective & for me that's enough. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.1 -
I honestly don't recognise those reviews on TP as being indicative of iWeb.Ive been using them for over 5 years and can't remember any real problems. I'm not a massive trader (in the last 12 months I made 17 trades) but I've been satisfied with their service and am happy to have them hold an ISA with about £1/4 million in it.Other providers can offer more bells and whistles (and commensurately charge more). I can use HL's site for free if I want to look at funds or business information, but low charges win through for me.1

A general rule of thumb of trustpilot reviews (or similar provider) is that an overly negative score is rarely as bad as the reviews indicate and an overly positive score is rarely as good as the score suggests. A very high quantity of reviews will be from people that dont understand what they are doing and blame the company (such as picking a DIY provider but moaning that you have to do everything yourself) if negative or reviewing after purchase and giving a positive score despite having only experienced the setup phase (which tells you very little).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.2

They are OK but I've had poor support from iWeb web chat; seem unable or unwilling to resolve issues; just say they can't do it lol. Can't trade AUY.L GJGB.L, XSPS.L, XUKS.L If you are trading FTSE blue-chips then fine.0

It suits me - I take an income, trade infrequently and pay no fee for the service.0
