Not sure if you read my post I have had numerous plans I couldnt keep.
Its at the point of court.
Yes i read your post, you may have had previous plans, but going forward you need to do something.
If your only income is UC, and you cannot afford to pay them anything, then i strongly recommend you write or chat to then, and tell them so, they can only help if they know the situation, otherwise you will just be treated the same as any other defaulting customer and that could include legal action, now all that can be avoided by a simple letter and the price of a stamp, or free on live chat.
You really do have to help yourself, i know its difficult but speaking as someone who has been made redundant himself in the past, telling them the situation takes away the worry, it really does.
I am not sure if the payments breaks apply to rental products, but it won`t cost you anything to ask.
There have been two lots of 3 months each so far, if this is part of a bigger financial problem, then please pop over to the debt free wanna be board, post your statement of affairs, and we will be able to help you.

  • Hi Bailey7070,
Interested in how you got on?
I'm thinking of renting white goods and just wondered what happened in this situation, as this was the nearest thread that came up when searching so hope you don't mind.
Thanks in anticipation and hope you got sorted.

Buy second hand, go on freecycle, ebay, charity shop etc. Don't get sucked into extortionate rental agreements

I agree with this.  In particular, British Heart Foundation have large stores in some towns, where they sell furniture and electrical goods.  If there's one near you, it's well worth a look - the stuff they sell tends to be good quality, a fraction of the price of new, and you're helping a good cause to boot :-)
