Amazon prime no sound

Help needed- signed up to Prime for the rugby but when I use my chromecast I can only get a picture no sound. Strangely there is sound when I watch a video or something else. Have tried using another chromecast doesn't work, another tv at a different location which works.The tv is a Sony Bravia. Any suggestions please?

Have you tried a different HDMI port for the Chromecast ??

Yes tried all 4.same result.

There is a lead that connects the Chromecast to the HDMI port - when you tried the second Chromecast did you use the original lead or the one with the second Chromecast ??

I take it you have tried the ports get sound from another device eg a freeview box  ?
You say you watched a video with sound, was that on the chromecast ?
I dont suppose you have another tv you could the the chromecast on ?

Its possible the Chromecast is faulty.

TV HDMI settings one will have no sound on mine .

Ok didn't swop the leads from the first Chromecast nor the second as I can get sound on videos.Have tried using Both Chromecasts on daughters tv at her place- all fine.Can't be the c.c as it works on everything else.Baffling
