Amazon Prime no sound

Tried using Prime via chromecast but only get pics no sound.Does not happen when watching videos etc only live rugby!! Tried another chromecast- not sound.Tried my chromecast on another location - works!! Tv is Sony Bravia.Tried all the HDMI ports all same. Amazon asked whether the sound was turned up! Mind you watching Wales without sound might be a good option at the moment!

We had exactly the same problem with our Bravia but found when we shut it off and put it on again it was fine for a while, then just pressed the ok button twice on the remote control and the sound came back.

Thanks comeandgo but the prob only happens watching Prime live via the chromecast. Could it be that the Wi-Fi isn't "strong enough?

What are you using to do the casting ? PC ? check the sounds output on that

Yes, that's when we had the problem, watching the rugby.

We are using Chromecast and the sound loss is ONLY on live Prime broadcasts- tennis today for example.

Was that your response to the post I've quoted? If yes, why? It was a reasonable suggestion.

You still haven't said what you're using to cast to the Chromecast. (A CC doesn't have apps on it - it needs something else to tell it where to look).

Sorry were_doomed, I was talking about the rugby.Were are using Samsung S9 to cast to chromecast.This sound lack ONLY occurs with live Prime broadcasts.
