many affordable handsets allow wifi calling. my previous phone a Moto G7 Power had wifi calling facility. important to me as where i work there is little or no mobile signal.
my replacement handset xiaomi poco X3 NFC also has wifi calling built in.
Hmmm, my G7 plus doesn't have this feature - three gave me a signal boosting box

I'm with vodafone. Went sim only last year. Need wifi calling and bought a Samsung a70 and A50. Both work fine with wifi calling.
  • Most phones bought elsewhere do work with wifi calling on Vodafone. You might just need to google a bit and work out how to enable it.

Not sure if the software on your phone is different to my G7 Power? the setting was located by selecting the 3 dots top right within the actual phone calling app and in there was the ability to turn on wifi calling.

I've a fairly cheap Sony Xperia for my work which uses WiFi calling on EE. Our IT people at work manage the settings remotely, so I've no idea how to set it up.

It was a bit dodgy in the office, the signal used to drop at 15 minutes or so, but has been fine since working from home.

sorry i'm doing this from memory as i no longer have this handset - having selected the 3 dot menu (top right of the phone app) select settings i believe and within in there should be the option to turn on wifi calling. if you have no luck let me know as my sister has my old handset and i can check out the exact steps for you then.
  • I have the G7 plus - it's not supported. Must be one of the many quirky differences between the power, play and plus.
  • So last time I checked EE and three offer the Wi-fi calling but also sms messages, useful when banking and no signal. The new xiaomi range all work with Three Wi-fi calling, so something like the 8T would suit you
  • Just tried to post a link, but not been on here long enough. Have a look for the xiaomi note range, either the 8t or the 9 range and you will get Wi-fi calling
