Thanks debtfreeoneday and savingholmes.  I've definitely bounced back healthwise, but its made me appreciate feeling well, rather than taking it for granted.  Finances are taking a bit of a hit, as we are in limbo waiting for things to happen, but we'll get there and my health and wellbeing is more important at the moment.  My home organising has slowed, but I'm still making headway.  Creativity is taking a bit of a back seat waiting for the being in limbo phase to disappear, but a good rest is needed right now, so I'll concentrate on that for a bit.

Hope you are okay. Sounds like things are tough currently. Hope things improve soon.

Thanks @savingholmes.  We're okay really, and have a lot to be grateful for.  We're just in limbo at the moment and it seems to be taking a while to sort.  We get really impatient and frustrated, and then realise there's nothing we can do, but it feels like endless waiting.  'We're just waiting' is all I can say - but we're reliant on an event that's out of our hands, so what else can we do.

Hi savingholmes and debtfree, thanks for popping by.  I've been busy for a few days so its taken my mind off things.  I've also had a bit of revelation about not wanting negativity in my life.  Nothing major, just you know things like you could complain, but sometimes it leaves a bad taste and achieves nothing so isn't worth it in the long term.  I wish I'd come to this revelation earlier.  It doesn't mean I won't complain about bad service and so on, but I will do it in a positive way.  I'm not explaining myself very well, but I just don't want negative energy around me unnecessarily.

Hi Sandy - some people think you invite negative stuff into your life by talking negatively. One way to deal with that - is when you find yourself doing it (we all do) you say cancel or flush as you want to cancel the negativity and move on.

I think this ageing thing is wonderful sometimes in that the amount of stuff you realise and come to know and really wish you knew when you were younger. If that makes sense.

I've been doing a bit of yoga lately savingholmes and its amazing how calming it is.  I'm quite empathetic so find it hard not to get drawn in to other's negativity, but I will try cancelling out or flushing that negativity away!

Debtfree, yes I totally agree.  I used to do that and be full of regrets and 'if onlys', but now I feel like a wise old owl

Happily plodding on over here in the Shore's household.  Going forward but not at any huge pace.  There's something calming about treading water for a bit - and lots of thinking time.  Trying to continue my positivity but been drawn into some family created dramas and negativity recently.  Its been completely draining, so I'm trying to create some space between us, without stirring up yet more drama.  Its led me to reflect on times when I was much younger and more naive, and I can see how much drama I was dragged into by these people that was totally unnecessary.  It is sad, but definitely better for me that I have distance from them.  They don't want help, they only want other people to be involved, but I've finally wised up - its time to move on.  Its been a lightbulb moment of a different sort.
