Plans moving on still, and step by step we are getting there. I have been practising more self care recently - mediation, time to exercise and relaxation. I can definitely feel it having an effect as I'm feeling calmer lately.
I know that we are currently in a very good place, and I am grateful for that. Hard work has paid off and got us here. There's more hard work to come, but I know now that we can do it and will be able to enjoy life a little along the way."Think of many things, do one"

Plodding on savingholmes, plodding on...
Things are really just very slow at the moment. Some good things are happening, but you know what its like when that one thing you are wanting to happen doesn't. I'm sure it will happen soon and then it will be helter-skelter."Think of many things, do one"

I hope so savingholmes. It just seems like there are delays all round at the moment, so frustrating. I feel like I'm on edge waiting and its also delaying me moving onto the next phase of mortgage free before retirement-ness.
I'm actually having a pretty good week all things considered, I've a lot to be thankful for. Doesn't help that I'm feeling under the weather, so I'm taking it easy - snuggled in bed with a hot water bottle at the moment. Things always seem better in the morning don't they."Think of many things, do one"

Feeling lots better but not quite 100%. Trying to wait patiently for things to happen, and not to get cross. We have so much to be grateful for. I haven't made any OPs to the mortgage for two months now, but we have been spending on the home, so I think we can be forgiven for that. We've our starter emergency fund, and my ISA and PB are growing slowly but surely.

Glad you are feeling better. It can be hard to stay balanced when you are feeling ill so don't be too hard on yourself. I think the rapid turnaround (negative) at the start of this year was reminiscent of the speed at which the pandemic hit and has knocked a lot of us for six. With energy - I've kind of mentally refused to pay above a certain amount and am therefore doing all I can to try and reduce it.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality
