Loft insulation round the bath?

Our bath is on it's legs just on a concrete floor that seems to be the foundation of the extension.
If I pack it with loft insulation in an effort to help keep the bath warmer for longer, are there any ill effects I should be weary of?

I would want to ensure there are no draughts coming in to the pace around the bath, from an outside wall perhaps?
I think filling gaps, if there are any, would do more than the loft insulation. I can't think.
how do you gain access to under the bath, is there a removable bath panel?0 -
No, just use gloves, face mask and goggles when installing the insulation. Work from the back to the front. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0

That would have to be a very big can of expanding foam.
If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.4 -

Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
You will be working in a confined space.
You could try tank insulation, less dust and fibres floating around.0 -
Thanks all.
I'll use some old insulation I have access to and make sure I use gloves and a mask.
Although it should be noted modern insulation isn't like the old fiberglass stuff - it's a bit like wool.0 -
It's a good idea but I'm not convinced it will make a huge difference due to that massive hole on the top of the bath2
