I have email alerts switched on (default ones and some extras), however, I don't receive any!
I have checked my spam and trash and gone to 'all emails' in Gmail, also searched for mse and forum and got no results..
What am I doing wrong?!

Ha! Just as I have gone in and checked a reply has just come through. It must be that none came through until I went into notifications and hit save (despite not really making changes..)0
