Deactivated V6 box still working

Our Virgin package was changed so we removed one box.  He said on the phone that he had deactivated it, but it is still working.  Is this normal. Should I disconnect everything and send it back. Is it not deactivated and now there will be a charge?

    Not sure as we cancelled, then got an email saying a box is on the way, then the next day was given a deal over the phone.
    Today a return box came, but that could be for the original cancelation.

    Virgin are the best people to ask.  Suggest you make contact with them as to whether they want you to send anything back.
