Canon Print App ???
<<This app is available for both iOS and Android devices, compatible with iOS 11.0 ~ 12.0 or Android OS 4.4 ~ 9.0 operating systems.>>0 -
No idea if it'll help but there's a Canon Inkjet Print Utility in the Windows Store.
Open the Store, click on Search and start typing Canon ... available options will be in the results.1 -
Hmm, windows store ..... never used that .... will investigate ......

I was trying to print a page from Google maps, so had to load the page, then disconnect internet/connect printer to get it to print, which was a bit complex when it just used to work seamlessly on the old PC!Thoughts?1

Just an update to this - I dug out the old laptop yesterday to try and compare settings to see why the old worked fine and the new won't.All settings seemed the same apart from old laptop was connected to the router 2.4 Ghz and the new one was using 5 (?) (we have a dual band router)I set new laptop to 2.4 and so far, so good - how odd, but it works ... fingers crossed!!!1

Ah! That sort of rings a bell. If I have my laptop connected to the 5GHz band (my printer is on the 2.4GHz band) then I can print OK but I can't scan to my laptop - I have to scan to USB. If I connect my laptop to the 2.4GHz band then I can make scanning work.0
