Ladies and gents,
If you were to open up a S&S ISA, which funds would you choose for small investments, £100pm with initial deposit of £500. Looking to invest long term, 10+ years.
I'm a bit stuck, I know it's personal preference but what would you recommend to a newbie.

I would recommend the one most suitable to the understanding, knowledge perceived investment behaviour, risk profile and capacity for loss. As it stands, we have none of that information. It sounds like you need someone to help narrow down the thousands of possible funds into something more manageable. I'd suggest you take a look at Vanguard Lifestrategy, Blackrock consensus and the equivalents from HSBC/L&G (search the forum for their exact names). Once you work out which level of risk you are, then look at the differences between them, that should help you work out which one is best for you.0
