There are BPA logos and roundels all over the NtKs. Latest information (IPC AOS list) is that they are now IPC operators. For the sake of an email enquiry it might be interesting to contact the BPA and ask the date on which nForce left the BPA. Long shot, but there's a possibility that at the time of your parking event they were no longer BPA operators. As I said, long shot, but worth doing.

Thanks for the suggestion Umkomaas - worth a shot indeed. Have fired off an inquiry to the BPA.

Private car park is in a busy town in a tourist area.

Go, be brave. tell us exactly where this car park is.
Hi Keith, omitted it as I did not want to aid them finding me - that said, they already have enough info to make an educated guess.. So, the car park (drum roll..) is in Bakewell, Bridge car park, Coombs Road. DE45 1AQ

    Cheers
That postcode is mentioned in another thread last December but the car park name is different - Smith's Island Car Park, Smith's Lane, Bakewell, DE45 1AQ.

    Had a reply
'I can confirm Nforce Parking Management Ltd left our membership on 3 December 2019'.

OK, so look at things like the entrance sign mandatory rules in the BPA CoP in 2019.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The NTK doesn't look PoFA compliant to me.
"If after 28 days ..." but it doesn't say when the 28 days begins.

Is this it? GSV car didn't go into the car park or even down the approach road.

Zooming in down the road as much as possible shows crap signage.

You need top do a site visit on foot and take pics, then compare them as best as you can with GSV images from June 2017 and April 2019 to show your images now are an accurate representation of what the place looked like in Feb 2019.

Hi Fruitcake. Yes that's it, the car park is inside the wall to the right, with the main entrance being down that lane and to the right (there's someone in red walking there). the exit is to the right on the main street.

Can pay the site a visit on the weekend to take some pics. Will report back when I have them. Thanks for the help.

Start with pics from the same point as the GSV image above, then distance and close up shots of signs as you go down the service road, paying particular attention to the car park entrance and signs. Take some general shots around the car park, retracing the route the driver told you they took from entrance to parking spot, to pay station, to exit. Alternatively, take a video which you can also use to extract stills.
If the driver is free, then get them to accompany you.
GSV from the bridge to the entrance shows very few signs inside the car park. You want images showing how poor the signs are, any that are damaged, hidden behind tall vehicles, trees, facing away from the direction of traffic etcetera.

Hi Fruitcake, all. Could not make it back over the weekend, but got the attached pics yesterday afternoon. Did as advised and took pics from main road, moving as the driver did (or best I could understand). Also took pics of any signage and some from the main A road going into the town.

One thing I did noticed - some discrepancies in the terms and conditions of the signage. It states -

'Parking charges are to be paid within 28 days. Additional parking charges apply for each 24-hour period, or part therof, that the vehicle remains in breach or if it returns at any time. Term and conditions apply 24 hours a day, all year round. Non-payment will result in a collection fee (for costs incurred as a result of debt and\or recovery) of £60 being added to the value of the parking charge... (continues)

Then in bold underneath - Parking charge of £100 for breach of any terms.

.....scrubbed those. realise it's £100 PSN with the £60 added after (looking through the letters they sent.. bah..

Is there any angle stating they never told me how much extra I needed of paid for going over (even if it was another 24 hour period). If I went over 1 second, it's a flat £100 charge.

Also states the driver being liable. I was not the driver at the time, so as elluded to in the start of this thread, is that not a good standing to use as primary (sole?) defence?

Any help, gratefully appreciated. Got till 4pm Fri to send defence)
