I have been getting them for for years. I suppose I was just curious why they suddenly stopped. However it has been a long time since I took any of their offers. Perhaps I have now answered my question.cymruchris said:
I had none last month and two this month on my BC, so they are still offering. It'll depend on the customer profile they want to offer them to - it'll no doubt change on a rolling basis.CRISPIANNE3 said:I pay my account in full every month and usually there are lots of balance transfer offers on my 4 Barclaycards. However I notice this month they have all disappeared. Not bothered but it is either a sign of the times or just me!

I do keep having them, I didn't check last time I logged into the account but I have used them periodically and they have bumped up my limit so perhaps if your credit profile is right, they keep offering so long as you seem to be a good customer0

I just spent/wasted £470 on online scratch cards on the national lottery website, these games are so sudsing and addicting. It was very easy to top up with my debit card. I spent the children's school uniform money and the misses is going to go ape as we are already struggling very badly.0

I've never used one since getting the card (around 18 months) and they seem to come and go every other month for me.CRISPIANNE3 said:

And I'm not sure why people feel the need to snipe at people while they're very clearly suffering. I guess life's full of confusion, isn't it.Emmia said:

The thread is about minimum payments on a Barclaycard. It has nothing to do with someone deciding to blow all the household cash on scratchcards, and their partner (unsurprisingly??) being angry with them as a result - not confusing, just off topic.callum9999 said:

I was writing a response to replies on the first page about online gambling being blocked by credit cards. I think debit cards should be blocked from gambling sites specially when you can quite easily spend nearly £500 in 4 hours, depositing £10/20 each time adding credit the account. The National Lottery especially make it addictive in their setup. They definitely take advantage of vulnerable people like myself. On over 250 online scratch cards most I won on a a tenner, and most times when I've ran out of money to keep me playing.0

Also you wouldn't dream of purchasing 250 scratch cards from the local shop in one go, online it just makes it earlier and you feel less guilty purchasing that amount, until you chasing your losses and you've than ran out of money, having to apply for payday loans to afford things that need paying without allowing the misses to finding out.0
