Ufix 50

Hi

I am with T mobile on their everyone 100 plan at £23.50 per month. I don't use the phone much and usually pay about £3 for calls outside my allowance. I told T mobile that my father pays £5 per month with his service, which he does, and they said I could have ufix 50 at £5 per month including VAT. They said that I would be unable to use the inclusive calls abroad but could top it up with payg, when abroad. I asked if I could have an upgrade on my phone but they said I would need to pay £15 a month to get that, which is understandable.
Has anyone had any experience of ufix with T mobile and do you think I should take this offer?
Thanks
Jackie

  • 100 mins @ £5 sounds good, in your shoes i'd take it.
Most definately not financial sense to get a new phone with them when renewing.
    After you've confirmed your deal @ £5 per month get a PAYG phone e.g. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5181340/Trail/searchtext%3ET-MOBILE.htm @ Argos!
  • I think you mean that they said you can go onto ufix £15 with £10 per MTh discount for 12 months.

I don't have full details to hand but I think you will get 50 minutes at 25 txts.

Double check with them before deciding.

Also the allowance is for standard uk landlines and mobiles and you will need to keep credit on there to make other calls or go over your allowance.

You are currently making about 120 minutes per month of calls if you go over by £3 so this may not be the best option.

Look at Flext 20 (18) MTH with £10 discount and no phone.

£5 a month more but could save you in the long run.
  • If you are a virgin media customer you can get a 12 month contract £10 a month with 100 mins and 100 texts...includes a new phone which you can sell to offset the cost.

  • Hi

Thanks everyone. Senorgroucho, I can't find the £10 per month contract on Virgin. I will ask T Mobile also, about Flexi 20, alnsv1000s.

    Thanks again
