I can't remember how old mine is .. it's a Toshiba Regza 32" Full HD that's still going strong.0

If you want to take it any further, you need to commission an independent report that says the TV has failed due to an inherent defect - but bear in mind that any refund offered can be reduced to take into account the 4 years use you have had from the TV.
