good idea about the childrens boots, but unfortunately I am a size 7.
there is a definite niche in the market. I just decided to pay the extra for some duo ones - I've looked for years and nothing came close.
will look out for the boots in those other shops people mentioned, although not hopeful.
also a niche in the market for high heels or any strappy shoes for thin feet.

I can honestly honestly say that duo boots will fit you, no matter what legs God gave you;) . I have the skinnyest, tiniest legs, and stupid thick ankles - and size 9 feet. I had given up hope of ever finding boots that didn't make me feel like a complete freak. Duo sell a really huge variety of styles, and every pair come in loads of different calf sizes, so they'll find the boots that fit your legs exactly. If you are scared of buying shoes online (like me:eek: ) go to one of their stores - there are quite a few now. I own two pairs, and I live in them:j . www.duoboots.com - and they do usually have a sale sometime around mid January if you think the price (c. £100- £120) seems a bit scary.
