affrodable knee-length boots..

I'm looking for a pair of knee-length boots - just under the knee - but the catch is that i have really skinny legs - so they need to be a tight fit. Normal ones just leave a 'gap' between my leg and the boot - which just looks silly..

The other catch is that in true MSE style I dont wanna spend an arm and a leg (excuse the pun!)

I tried some 'stretch' ones on in Matalan few days ago but they just slid down my leg
any pointers anyone ? Would like before xmas...

Hiya i have the opposite problem to you - fat calves!!!

Could you not wear some legwarmers inside the boots to pad them out so they stay up?

  • have you looked on ebay? some of them on there are very reasonable and if they don't fit quite perfect you could always sell them on again.

you should definitely try Duo Boots http://www.duoboots.com/

they are a bit more pricey (£100+) but come in a variety of calf fittings

if you can wait, they usually have a sale come January/February and you can get them for under £100

the boots can be ordered online or from the shop in Bath and fitting room in London

Yes, I have fat calves too - I wish I had skinny legs.

M&S do great ones for fat calves, but I'm afraid I don't know where to get skinny ones.

  • Hi

I bought a pair for my wife the other day from Cheshire Oaks, Ellesmere port - Fiorelli (the leather place) £12.99 :D

They were small in the ankle and leg. I was really surprise as it usually costs anywhere between £60 and £140
  • Just wanted to say thanks for the tip on M&S & Duo for people with fat calves! I can never get boots to do up!!!

I bought some from Evans £40 for fat calves - they stretch to do them up - but then slowly slide down my legs! Typical! I can't get 'normal' boots on - even the M&S for fat calves!
