UKPC parking over marked bay in the rush hour and full car park

  • Thanks for the prompt reply, this is the first parking charge I got, and I thought they will sort it out, apparently they are the biggest scammers so I wouldn't see any help from UKPC). As far as found online the Greyhound Retail Park is owned by Eskmuir Proprieties, so would be the best then to complain to them and copy the UKPC?

Welcome fellow Beamer.  I see you were over the white line and so was the car next to you and this is probably a ricochet problem from further up the line.   A perfect situation for the goons UKPC employ

The problem we all see in car parks is that the spaces are not wide enough to accommodate some vehicles like big 4x4's and  even the big Beamers.   That is the fault of the landowner who probably thinks everyone still drives a mini ?

When I park I look for a space that I can open the door

So, a cancelation by the landowner will be in order due to parking spaces cannot be in the interests of modern vehicles which in turn gives UKPC  to farm car parks for money

Complain to Eskmuir asap , preferably by email or in writing , not telephone
  • Thank you a lot for all your help and advice. I will write to Eskmuir tomorrow, as well I will attach below the appeal reject letter, and if I am not mistaking they saying that they will not increase the charge and wouldn't go further till the next 35 days.

Read the Popla paragraph again , it says 28 days from the date on that letter , but we know they expire around day 33 , so leaving it 35 days sets you up for that bottom paragraph

I would be using my popla appeal around day 30 , except I probably wouldn't because I would raise merry hell with the owner and make it so uncomfortable they get it cancell

Hi, I just wondered if you did in fact complain to the owner and if so the outcome? I received a pcn for the exact same 'offence' at the same place in Southend in December.  I'm now at the stage of making a popla appeal, but haven't complained to the owner as only just read about this.  Many thanks

UKPC are fraudsters and imo, it is very unlikely that they would take this to court, read this

Many judges think that these minor BOC cases are a waste of court time

    Finally, complain to your MP.
