Sky TV help please (moving)

Hi all. Some help please, a little confused
I currently have Sky entertainment package and a Sky+HD box, a VIP customer (whatever that is), all on one TV, £27 p/mth. Am now moving - no Sky there.
Q1. As a VIPer I understand instalation is free (even with Sky Q??)
Sky Q looks good (as it's got Netflix) and is £25 for 18 mths (Q2. what does it go up to ???) (£2 saving - no brainer)
I want Sky in 3 rooms (don't care if it is the same channel, I can walk to change). Initially thought of a local guy to drill walls and extend cables. He advertises the Magic Eye set up (no drilling...) for £50. I see that Magic Eyes are only £10 on the net. Assume these work, why Q3. would I not just get one of these instead of 1. drilling, and 2. paying him £50
So long as I get Sky in 3 rooms, thats all I want. There is no need for Multiscreen (£ + £14 p/mth), there is just me there.
The list of what is on SkyQ is not extensive. Will Q4. I still get Disc Hist, Atlantic, Discovery, Food Network
Anything wrong with this then... New instalation > no cost (or is it £40 for SkyQ) > ebay Magic Eye £10 (any recommendations??) - save £40/drilling) > Sky in 3 rooms (even if same channel/need to go to 'main' room to change on remote.
Any help much appreciated - many thanks

Q1 - we upgraded to Sky Q for free earlier this year so I guess that was because we are "VIP customers". They also put up a shiny new dish as the old one was looking decidedly tatty
Q2 - I guess it can go as high as Sky want to put it depending on what services you want - we have SKY Signature for £17 a month (discounted from £25). It also includes SKY Go for use on tablets and a computer (apparently because we are VIP customers) but we dont use it it
Q3 - As far as I know the magic eye thingies don't work with Sky Q so if you want multiroom then you've probably got to pay extra for it - it's something we can happily do without. I guess you could see if Sky Go would satisfy your requirement to watch stuff in another room.
Q24- we have Sky "Signature" for £17 a month which is more than enough for us. We get History, Atlantic, Discovery etc, dunno about Food (not something we'd bother about). We've got Amazon Prime for their free deliveries etc but we seldom use it for films and stuff. We can use Netflix on my daughters account but we don't bother with that either.

What are these Magic Eye things for then if "they don't work". Wonder what the instalation guy is advertising/providing. If it doesn't work, I wouldnt pay0

Any further help/comments please?0

The old SKY HD+ box would work with the magic eye thingies via the TV aerial socket but SKY Q doesn't as the SKY Q box doesn't have the capability of accepting the remote commands via the TV aerial cable because it doesn't have a TV aerial socket.
SKY Q gets connected to your TV via an HDMI socket and not via a TV aerial input which means you cant extend the output of a SKY Q unless you use a very long HDMI cable.
Magic Eye Installations, also known as Sky TV Links enable you to view your Sky channels from another room as well as change the channels on your Sky, Sky+ or Sky+HD box from another room. In order to use a Magic Eye/TV Link, you will need an aerial cable running from your Sky box to the second television.
