Servive station fuel is provided for those who don't pay for their own fuel.

I had to refuel at the BP services on the M3 at Winchester yesterday and was charged £1.339 per litre for unleaded fuel. This is an absolute disgrace and 15p per litre over the most expensive local pump price and 25p per litre over what I paid at the local Tesco later on yesterday. So please be aware... I am waiting to hear from BP regarding their feedback

I take it you don't get out much/or have just started driving..........motorway service stations have always charged excoriate prices as others have said plan ahead, there are loads of Tesco/Sainsbury's/morrisons etc just off lots of junctions

Good luck waiting for you reply from BP its got nothing to do with them

In other news, apparently the Pope is a Catholic.....
  • In nearly 30 years of driving I have never refuelled at a motorway service station for this very reason.
  • when I go to see my mum (250 miles away), I allways stop at the services half way to use the loo and get something to eat n drink. but I never buy there fuel. I get that from sainsburys en route, its cheaper and I get points on my nectar card.

And did you see how much they charge for coffee?
  • In other breaking news, a pint of beer at the airport Wetherspoons costs a lot more than the Wetherspoons in the town a few miles down the road.
