If you paid by credit or debit card and the flight wasn't more than 120 days ago, you can invoke chargeback with your bank.0

What time frame are you dealing with? Refunds on cancelled flights have been slow but thankfully getting better. Having an intermediary ticket seller in the middle won’t however help. They may also deduct a service fee from the Wizz Air refund to cover their costs.0

From experience a chargeback is futile. Opodo are appealing chargeback claims, and then imposing an additional 90 day delay to the refund process whether or not they have received the money from the airline. Complete bunch of charlatans...!eskbanker said:If you paid by credit or debit card and the flight wasn't more than 120 days ago, you can invoke chargeback with your bank.0 -
They have to have a good reason to appeal , Last Minute tried it on with my provider Capital One by concocting some !!!!!! and bull they saw straight through telling them to come up with something more substantial (which they didn't).Nick212010 said:

Your flights have been cancelled, they are not paying, an open and shut case as far as I can see. In Law Opodo are responsible for refunding you irrespective of whether they have been recompensed by Wizzair
What basis have they got to appeal on ?0 -
Another good reason to chargeback, no fees deducted you get all your money back.Westin said:What time frame are you dealing with? Chargeback is worth persevering with. Opodo may challenge it initially, but unless they subsequently issue a refund (which of course they don’t) you can reopen the chargeback procedure. Opodo challenged my claim with AmEx and quoted 90 days. 90 days later I reopened the chargeback and had it upheld by AmEx.Nick212010 said:

They too gave my credit card provider a cockerel and bull story, but my provider has buckled and gave them back the money. Opodo told my provider that:Butts said:

What basis have they got to appeal on ?
1. They have abided by the Ts & Cs,
2. I cancelled the booking (not true, the airline did),
3. That I accepted vouchers (also not true, I have email evidence specifically rejecting vouchers and requesting Opodo pursue a cash refund - copies of which I presented to my provider when I initiated the chargeback).
I initiated a chargeback on the basis that Opodo hadn't pursued the refund from the airline and had stopped all communication on their side. I was also coming up to the 120 day limit, so it was more of a hail Mary attempt that my claim would fly under their radar.
Also realise I'm hijacking a thread, however I hope this gives to OP some idea of what battle they might have ahead of them.0 -
I too am having problems with OPODO. I booked 4 flights in February 2020 through OPODO and Ryanair cancelled the May flights. In short, the flights cost £500 and Ryanair have now refunded approx £400. The other £100 was debited to OPODO on my credit card statement and they are refusing to pay as it is "none refundable" in their Ts & Cs. Obviously, the 90 or 120 day limit has now expired so is it still worth pursuing?0

It sounds like the £100 are the fees for Opodo’s service. These likely due if you flew or didn’t. I would check their terms and conditions to see if these are mentioned (I suspect they are).0
