I think they should be sent into businesses where employees have struggled to take annual leave. Like a job swap and rest scheme. (((the dream))) How can it be right to have 8 days leave in 10 months and have to prepare to lose the rest of that holiday pay whilst someone else has months off in security of still having a job. But equally I've seen the damage of people unwilling and unwanting to work, given months to improve cos their only 25! and all the benefit of the doubt who are just in the job to window gaze but who end up the 'victim'. As someone having a procedure soon who within hours has to rush back to work cos no one to cover I'm gutted and not exactly relishing it.ComicGeek said:Absolute joke - everyone on furlough should be made to undertake community service work, including picking up litter and dog poo, filling in pot holes, cutting back hedges - in fact anything that will help councils save money moving forward.
Posts like this are an absolute insult to those who actually do a proper day's work at the moment! And yes, I am very jealous... :'( :'(0 -
Well I have done one good thing while I'm furloughed. I'm a member of IDDT - independent diabetes trust-. and they recycle printer cartridges to raise fund for the charity. so I've set myself up as a collector for that, and I asked for a piece to be put in our local news letter, asking people to give me there spent cartridges, so I can send them off. IDDT gets anything up to £2.00 for each one.0
