We've had lots of community groups set up to help those that are shielding with shopping, prescriptions etc. There's plenty of constructive and rewarding opportunities if you look.Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

During the first furlough I volunteered to deliver prescriptions for my local surgery. I did it every week day for nearly 4 months. Might be worth asking yours.clive0510 said:

I belong to one of those. Absolute joke - everyone on furlough should be made to undertake community service work, including picking up litter and dog poo, filling in pot holes, cutting back hedges - in fact anything that will help councils save money moving forward.
