Actually it's between almost nothing and 20%, depending how much you earn. If you're part time earning £625 a month the cost to employer is only the cost of annual leave as they'll be no employer NI and no statutory pension contributions. At the maximum of £2500 it'll be around the 20% you quote but if you think most people earn more than £2500 a month you're sadly mistaken.MattMattMattUK said:In theory yes, but it will cause some issues where redundancy payments have been made.
