Thames Water price increase

in Water bills
We were paying £ 19 a month for 2 people in a 3 bed house. TW puts my bill up to £25 a month without telling me. That’s almost a third price increase ! No extra people in the house no extra wate being used. I had to find this out by casually looking at our bank statement online. So I rang them up & they were surprised I wasn’t happy with the new contract! I said if you are going to change my bill / contract have the decency to let me know. They didn’t apologise but did put my bill back to the old contract.

It's not a contract, FYI - if you're on a meter then you'll be charges what you're using, that's it.

If on a meter and no readings supplied would be an estimate they have done.
Do you have a meter?

Send at least monthly readings to avoid the estimate. I have a smart meter that doesn't work and I have to send reading by myself.0
