I signed up in july for 12 month sim only will I be able to leave penalty free, as they asking me for 38 quid early termination charge . Which is something like 80% of the remaining contract life0

Why would you expect to leave a 12 month min term contract early without penalty, unless Three have failed to supply the service?blinko said:I signed up in july for 12 month sim only will I be able to leave penalty free, as they asking me for 38 quid early termination charge . You normally have to pay the remainder of the minimum term, less vat.0 -
Sorry I should have added can I leave due to the price increase I took my sim only contract out in july for 12 months0

The terms you signed up to state "You agree to stay with us for the Minimum Term. The minimum price for Three Services provided under this agreement is the Monthly Charge for the Minimum Term. Each May, your Monthly Charge will increase by an amount up to the January RPI rate."blinko said:Sorry I should have added can I leave due to the price increase I took my sim only contract out in july for 12 months

So no you can't leave without repaying the contract minimum term if they increase the price by the January RPI rate.1 -

Ok thanks for your replies , I was going by this article . I think they will still have the right to increase by RPI but not 4.5%0 -
That article is only for those who took out a plan after the 29 October 2020.blinko said:https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2020/11/three-and-vodafone-pay-monthly-customers-to-be-hit-by-inflation-/

If you check here there are three copies of their terms, the terms depend when you signed up/

Thanks for letting me know RPI it is0

Just be aware that after the minimum term they can end your plan and try to move you to a more expensive tariff, but you are free to choose a new tariff or leave. If you take a new tariff it will then be subject to the new terms. But once you get to the end of the minimum term you can renegotiate again etc.blinko said:Thanks for letting me know RPI it is0 -
