Hey,

anyone living in London, please advise on this sign, am I able to park for Free on Sat or Sun without being a permit holder?

Thanks

Best going over to PePiPoo where the council parking experts operate.  You'll need to use an email address to register, but a hotmail one won't work.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Always gobbledegook to me , never covered it on my driving test many moons ago

I suppose if you have a permit they issue a booklet to explain its use , but my experience of the council's tends to be they don't know what day it is and don't think things through , which costs the ratepayers money

I have only been to London once in the last few decades a couple of years ago , the disabled bays confused me , red routes , resident permits etc , red tape to trap the unwary that we don't see in Manchester AFAIK

Don't even ask me about that magic roundabout and priorities somewhere down south !!

My council reminds me of Branson christening a new cruise ship just prior to a pandemic

My council opened a new local leisure centre with pool and gym and social and function rooms plus bowling alley , a week or two before lockdown one

But as mentioned above , pepipoo fightback forums is the place to ask

Have you got a driving licence? Do you know who issued it?

Agreed , that is obvious and is usually London , but the permit references are not obvious unless you have one and the booklet

The devil is in the detail , which is what the OP wants explaining

Yet the same OP doesn't know DVLA !!! That worries me

Apologies, first time round it was the characters, the error message kept coming up at the top for something else and still doing the same.

    What are you talking about?

Drive round again, perhaps the sign will look different second time around.

    @BrownTrout
Correct it is London. So you are saying within that time, anyone WITHOUT a permit should not be parking there, only outside the time specified on sign?
