Hi.
I'm looking for some running shoes (outdoor use) but don't know where to shop. My criteria:
WHITE
MENS 9.5 UK SIZE
UNBRANDED (no logos or brand names)

Any suggestions?

Not particularly budget (£120) but white and unbranded.

Brand/logo free might be an issue.

Far too pricey, but thanks for the reply
  • Not sure about the unbranded part, but I've recently bought some football boots from M&M, and they seem to have a wide selection of different footwear at decent prices - I paid £25 incl P&P. My jogging/running shoes are from Aldi/Lidl (can't remember which) so you could keep an eye on their websites too, but you'd have to move quick when they have their offers to get your size.

Basic plimsolls - as used before modern running shoes were invented? Eg https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dek-Adults-Unisex-Canvas-Plimsolls/dp/B015QQQNQC/

But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,
Had the whole of their cash in his care.

  • Thanks for the replies - I've checked TKMAXX website and cannot see any unbranded ones that are suitable and the same with the M&M site. And the basic plimsolls aren't suitable for outdoor running. They are a bit more indoor PE in school!

I really didn't think buying white trainers for sports was so hard.

Is it trail running or road ones are you looking for?? Personally I go to the running shop to get fitted as you only have one pair of feet which holds up your body! A pair of f@%$$ feet wont be able to do much. Then it will wasted money on physio treatment etc.

Once you know what suits you then you can look elsewhere like ebay or market place.

I do canicross not a fan of road running.

Is there a reason they must be unbranded? I only ask as have been able to snag some fantastic deals on Schpock buying brand new/as new condition running shoes that people sell e.g: they got the wrong size. For example I picked up running shoes for £35 brand new in a box..their retail RRP was £120 at the time. The seller wanted £50...I offered £35 and was happy to drive there and pick up.
I picked up another pair for £25 but they were used albeit not too much. I have purchased running shoes brand new but once you are confident of your running shoe size and what shoes work for you then no need to buy brand new e.g: scan classifieds and buy previous seasons versions that are discounted

If you buy Asics, their website frequently has "last seasons colours" online - which is great if you know the size and model you want... unfortunately Asics aren't really known for their white unbranded trainers.

I would personally get some fitted - but that's unlikely to be cheap.

Edit: Boohoo Man have some trainers that might work, but they're fashion trainers rather than serious runners (and don't come in a half size), but they are white and about £20

    I don't like to wear branded clothing/shoes.
