    For £26 - £59 I would have forgotten about the money and her long ago. People have dropped more on the way to the shops, to even think about court is crazy.

    Unfortunately, I think we've all gone through the hard lesson of lending people money (and not getting it back) - I've lost £80 to an ex-work colleague in the past in the same fashion. This forum will always advise that friends & family should never mix with money for this reason - money can unfortunately ruin friendships very quickly.

    Luckily for you, it's a fairly cheap lesson learned. There are people here that have lent thousands to family members.
