They put my order in the bin. Then left me a note to say where it was. But I was on holiday and returned after the bin was emptied. They then made it impossible to contact them. If I know a seller uses Hermes I do not buy from them.
This might sound obvious but why did you place an order to be delivered while you were on holiday?

I tried to use Resolver to contact Hermes.  Initially received a confirmation that I would receive re reply in 24 hrs but any subsequent email now bounces back

I'm currently in dispute with Hermes and am experiencing the same issues with regards to getting to speak to anyone, and my emails have so far been ignored.  I sent a parcel that was at least 1.5 kg below the threshold, yet they forced me to pay an additional £10.80 to deliver it claiming that it was overweight, knowing that they had me by the short & curlies.  I've done some research and see that this is a common issue, with many also well below the threshold so is unlikely to be due to a difference in the calibration of their scales.  Some cynics reckon this is their money-making scam!  Interestingly Hermes are very keen to use photographic evidence to prove they delivered a parcel, but provide no such photographic proof that the package was overweight.

I could only get to deal with their computer bot, I stated my parcel had not arrived and they claim they attempted to deliver and I wasn't in, effectively calling me a liar. I contacted the company who sent out my parcel and their response was no better than Hermes, " I am sorry to hear there has been a slight delay " I replied that the delay is not the problem, it is the lies and I will be returning the product. I was going to send a parcel tomorrow with them, not anymore.

The company you bought from sounds rubbish if they couldn't understand your issue.

But...it sounds like you now have the item you ordered.
    But don't want it anymore.

Some months ago I had a problem with Hermes and was never able to contact them despite trying all things including ceoemail, resolver etc.
  • How do Hermes get away with such poor service their bot is ridiculous and obviously bought from a bargain basement used Bot Shop - speaking to one of their human assistants was inspiring (not) and they did not give a toss.
I think they need ‘winding up’ really as that would give their CEO a big kick in the pants that clearly is needed.

Message to CEO - honest people are employing you have the respect to honour their orders - it is simple business ethic thank you

I sent a parcel back to a catalogue on February 24th, still showing on the way back. As everybody has experienced it is impossible to contact them. When you get to holly on the phone and she asks for the first 4 digits all I get is can you repeat that 15/16 times. I want a claim form but impossible to get one. Might need to send a solicitors letter.

    Simple.
As long as people keep using them and giving them money, they will continue to operate in the same way.
Of the large courier companies, Hermes are normally the lowest priced company in the UK and this very low price comes with drawbacks, one of which is that they wouldn't employ many customer service staff.
  • I need help also i loved hermes. Now I'm having issues again and again. One hasn't moved for two weeks. So I need to claim I enter the code and its says not valid phone is a robot. Email isn't valid. Phone is impossible and holly is a joke when u put in the tracking number.
