At last I have opened S&S ISA with iWeb today Funded with £10k today and bought SMT worth £2.5K
Will try to fund with balance £10Kk tomorrow and will shop more fr0m ny balance list.
Beight the first time investor in the UK market I have few queries and will be thankful if someone can help.
Shall I buy all in one go for the balance £17.5K or wait and buy slowly , but in case the market shoots uo like today I have to buy at the higher rates and will get less qunatities, In case they go down , I am not worried as I have bought for long term ( any suggestions on this will be appreciated)
I plan to buy few funds and suppose I place the order now for Royal London Sustainable Fund Acc ( Current price is 306.80p and the valuation point is 12:00 )
When my order will be fulfilled ie tomorrow morning when the market opens or the next day and what rate I will get.
    Thanks in advance.

Statistically you are better off buying all at once. Something like a 2/3 probability. If this is for the long term, what's the point holding back over say a year? It could rise for a year then crash the day after you bought the last tranche.
And in ten years time the price you paid today shouldn't be of significance anyway.
The issue with funds is, you dont know what price you'll be paying. You just hope it wont be much different to todays. And usually it wont be. Dont sweat it.

iWeb Users I have an opened account and transferred £10K in S&S ISA,
I logged in and realized that the share dealing account is showing as
    Available to invest: -£25.00
    Total securities: £0.00
    Total value:-£25.00
Any idea why is that (is it the account opening fee?) , Shall I depost £25 in that acocunt to make the balance NIL.
    Thanks

So that means the account opening fee will not be included in the S&S ISA allowance,

Anything that happens in the Share Dealing Account will not affect your S&S ISA Account.
Either they have changed the way they collect the £25 or you answered the signup questions differently but the £25 was collected from my bank via direct debit and never went through either account. Looking at my Share Dealing Account there has never been any transactions posted.

Your profile logo is so appropriate, I was panicking about giving misinformation for a minute there!

Please let us know what they say. I must be getting old when I don't know how something I have done should work.

When I signed up to Iweb (many years ago), the £25 showed similar to how mazibee reported, and I paid it with a debit card. I have never used direct debit with Iweb, always debit card..
