Do think OP did not actually have a grasp about what lockdown actually meant?

Wish I was going to Madeira on Monday. Lovely island.  Stayed at Funchal in 2019 great holiday!!

Sorry but just panicked and started phoning the companies involved and when I was offered some money back for the hotel took it quite early on this morning but just have had no information from jet2 on the flight so that was my question.

You blinked first. I see no reason why your flight doesnt operate tomorrow and if you dont get on it....then thats it, you wont get any money back for them.

Id book another hotel. You won’t get any money back for the flights if they still operate.
