I haven’t got savings anything near £16,000,I’m the main earner as my husband is disabled and receives PIP we don’t get any tax credits or any other benefit, and I only work part time

Depending on your earnings and whether you rent or own your home you may even be entitled to some Universal Credit, regardless of whether you can or can't be furloughed for the next 4 weeks. Use a benefits calculator to check entitlement to UC. If your husband is unable to work because of a health condition then he should send in fit notes from his GP and this will start the work capability assessment process off.
If he's receiving the daily living part of PIP then you would also be entitled to the carers element of UC as part of your claim.

That would be up to your employer, you might not have been furloughed anyway.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
