We are due to exchange on Wednesday with completion 18th November, had an email from the removals company saying that the house we are buying should be empty for 48 hours before they can move our stuff in, is that true?ashleighduguid said:My partner works for a removal firm and as far as we are aware it is business as usual for them. So there shouldn’t be any problems for you on that front!

Obviously it's "true", but only as far far as their terms and conditions state. I mean it's not law or anything (unless something has just been announced).CBush86 said:

I'd not even thought about that! To be honest I am moving my stuff in myself so as long as the seller moves out I will move in. I will take the risk. Whether she can move into her new house though is a different matter. So many ramifications to all of this!CBush86 said:
