Any recommendations for breakdown cover for older cars over 15 years old?

I have two cars and myself and spouse to cover; nationwide recovery required.
Both cars are over 15 years old which rules out AutoAid as buried in their terms it states they only cover cars up to 15 years old; I only realised this by a tip off in a review as it is not until you get the full-length t&c's that this is stated and then in the definitions; not exclusions! Nowhere in the application process, nowhere in the product information sheet. Very poor practice by AutoAid.
I was with RAC personal cover but don't have enough Tesco vouchers this year and the quote was too expensive (£160 I think).

Start Rescue, they also have a policy specifically for classic cars.1

Thanks yes they don't appear to have an age limit on cars; only vans. Not sure my cars are 'classic'; just old. Quote with StartRescue seems to be around £100 whether I do it as personal or vehicle based X 2.

Another vote for Start Ruscue. They have just offered renewal terms on my 15 year old cabriolet. They are also extremely competitively priced. I get level 3 national recovery and home start for two cars for less than the cost of one car from the likes of Green Flag and RAC. Their website is also extremely easy to use and changes to your policy take seconds.1

I moved earlier this year from GEM to Nationwide's FlexPlus account with bundled breakdown.
GEM covered older cars just fine, and were by far and away the cheapest for my requirements - c.£80 for 2 x personal cover, pay and reclaim, inc national and home - but they wouldn't touch a recently-acquired camper (because of size, 2500kg max), and they wouldn't offer Euro cover.
Include the van and Euro cover, and the Nationwide deal was a no-brainer, especially since it includes travel insurance, at £150ish/year.
Maybe 2020 wasn't the right time to worry about travel insurance and Euro breakdown...?0 -
I use Tesco Clubcard vouchers for R.A.C. personal cover. That will also cover being a passenger in any car too. Roadside, At Home and Recovery, about £48 in vouchers last time. No vehicle age restriction, as far as I am aware, after trawling through the Ts & Cs.That covers me driving either my Toyota Yaris or Morris Minor 1000 (58 years old).0

Start Rescue for me. Cover for old cars included, but restricted abroad (EU).0

I’m not sure about Auto Aid they rescued my 24 year old Land Rover in the summer. No quibble.0

I am on my phone so may have missed it on the small screen, but I’ve just read through the Autoaid docs and can’t see the mention of age related exclusion - https://www.autoaidbreakdown.co.uk/document-downloads/0
