Lifetime isa & help to buy isa

I already have a help to buy isa if i was to open a lifetime isa instead could i use the lifetime isa as a help to buy and carry on saving and use it after im 60 and get the bonus twice? If not can i use the help to buy for the bonus and use the lifetime isa for the bonus when im 60?

    When buying your first property, you can only access the 25% bonus from either the HTB ISA or the LISA but not both, so it's always worth working out which will suit your circumstances better, but yes, you can use a LISA for a first time purchase and then continue to use it with retirement in mind.  It's typically better to use a cash LISA when saving for a first property but a S&S LISA towards retirement funding, given the lengthy timescales for the latter....
