I have a repayment buy to let mortgage. My fixed rate mortgage is complete jan 2021. I want to change to residential mortgage on a fixed rate. I am 65 years old. I have good income and also want to put 25,000 off the total. Is this possible?
A friend also told me to try mortgaga hut as a broker how reputable is that site. Any help would be appreciated

Speak to an independant mortgage broker.Or to start with, why not speak to your current lender?0

do you mean you are going to move into the property as your main home?
I'm sure you know you cannot get a residential mortgage on a let property.
as for the rest, you really ought to bite the bullet and pay a mortgage broker for advice as your circumstances are not those which are covered by most comparison websites given your age . You certainly can still get mortgages after age 65, but I think I have seen mention on other posts on her that they don't go beyond age 75 max? So will you clear it in 10 years with your "good income"?1
