Good morning dear Sue and fellow potters! I've just had a catchup reading posts and ouch! Sue, you poor soul, and more to come too I got your message and will be with you soon, it's just been full-on here. I haven't managed to pot a single penny yet. The house has been scraped clean of coins simply to feed the hospital parking machine My on-line sales are non-existent too so I have potted b*gger all so far. Please count me in anyway, I'm sure to start sometime! Have a lovely weekend at home everyone and stay safe x
Good morning Some great potting going on already. Glad the dentist was kind Sue, but sorry you have to do it all again in a couple of week. Abby's dad has a cheek really, missing you out. £2 potted for me yesterday. Stay well everyone. 32b3
I have declared my amount on the other thread and hope I can join you in the next sealed pot adventure! My number last year was 141.
You don't need to join again, Honeysucklelou2, as I transfer
everyone across each year. So, keep right on saving, you're doing very well
indeed!!
A very Good Evening SPCers! I hope you all have a really great day, evening too.
TAKE CARE & STAY HEALTHY EVERYONE!!
For
all those of you who are either poorly or feeling low or miserable in
any way, our very best wishes that you'll soon be feeling very much
better.
Hi little-sweetie! It's good to see you again. 😍 So sorry you've
had to give so much money to the hospital for parking, so mean! 😡 We're
fortunate in having a 2hr stretch of road by a park, quite a way from the
hospital, but definitely walkable, so to speak, uphill part of it too, so good
for us... when the ankle is better, and bit by bit it's getting there.
Don't rush in replying, when you've time will be fine.
Fingers crossed your sales will get stronger as we edge towards Christmas.
Have a lovely weekend. BTW. There's no need to re-join, you're in anyway.
Thanks so much for your thoughts, 32b3, though in fairness the
dentist was extremely kind. Darned cheek about Abby's dad, the limits some folk
go to
Well done with your potting!
Have a WONDERFUL SUNDAY folks and enjoy yourselves
NB folks: Opening date for SPC 14 is 28th

Anyone wishing to join us, it's NEVER too late!
So please just ask and you will be made very welcome.
Hello everyone! Potter 030 reporting for duty. After this year's brilliant haul of ~£314 I'm hoping to try and match it for next year so I would love a target of 300 if possible.
My settings are telling me I am ineligible for a signature so I'll just leave it in here: SPC 030 [2020 - 314.08]. [2021 - ?]
Hello, I’ve potted a fiver plus some bits of change. This included 5p roadkill which caused quite a debate with my son 🤣. We were out walking and I saw it and picked it up; he then said he wanted it for his money box, the cheek of the child! He soon saw it my way when I said he would get it eventually as I spend my sealed pot contents on his Christmas presents; he couldn’t argue with that. I fear I may have taught too well. I’ve decided to add my Prolific gains in my pot this year, they have previously gone on mortgage overpayments but I’ll reach my overpayment allowance this time round so I’ll stash them elsewhere. Hope everyone is keeping well 🥰
Hmm starting to get a bit of roadkill envy reading recent posts! Just been for a long walk and not a penny, or even the false alarm of a bottle cap! - mind you it is very dark. Really wanted to treat myself to a nice takeaway coffee today but resisted and potted the equivalent, along with some travel savings. Have a good week all. Hopefully this vaccine news will amount to something meaningful. In the meantime stay as safe and as well as you can.

Evening everyone! Sorry to hear about your teeth, Sue, I winced too when reading about it. I hope that its at least starting to heal up nicely for you.
I've started potting too - I always save the money that I get from the discounts at Tescos where I do main shop. Now that they have done the Clubcard prices, Mr T is making it very easy for me to work it out. The main problem is finding enough change to put in my pot.
For all those those bleary-eyed mummies who have to play the tooth fairy.... Like so many mothers, I worked throughout my children's childhood, and half the time, walked round in a fog of tiredness, escpecially when they were small. I woke up in the middle of one night, remembering that I had forgotten to to exchange the tooth my eldest son had lost that day for 50p. So up I got - first problem, no fifty pence piece. So I scrabbled in my purse for the change, crept through and scrabbled under his pillow for the tooth fairy box that my mum had given me (thanks mum, it made the job so much easier) opened it, took the tooth out, put the money in, slid the box under his pillow and went back to my bed, feeling glad that I had remembered....
In the morning, I was woken up by a cry from the boys' room.." Mummy! Mummy, the tooth fairy's been and she's left me ...(slight pause).. forty-nine pence!"
