can i move my number from one o2 sim only tariff to another ?
currently on monthly o2 contract........ have seen the much much better tariff advertised on uswitch that is available direct from o2 . Did a live chat with o2 to see if they would give me same tariff but wouldn't .
If i take out a new contract on the uswitch offer it will have a new number ... these days can you port your number from an original o2 contract on to another ?

It's unlikely to be possible but would have been worth asking during the live chat.
Otherwise you would have to port your number to a SIM of another network using PAC, then port it again to your new O2 contract SIM.Evolution, not revolution0 -
When I was with O2 they were quite happy to migrate a number (not port, migrate) from one contract to another. The original contract will end. This was three years ago and at the time they were the only provider to allow migration.1
